The Zenith is very clean, the service was excellent, the food was good (dining room) with the exception of the first night when both the service and the food was not the best it could be. The food was cold and we waited too long for the wine steward. After that night it was fine. Some nights the food was better than others but most nights it was good. Everything was gourmet so there were some unusual combos. That made it good for trying something new. On one of 2 formal nights we had lobster that was awesome. A huge lobster tail! The buffets were good and the grand buffet was beautiful with the ice carvings and carvings of fruit. We thought the ship was well kept. Someone was always cleaning somewhere. The entertainment was "OK". There was a good comedian and 3 glittery stage shows . All were entertaining. We did not go on this trip expecting perfection. We were very happy with everything.

Since the ship is medium size there was some motion going on but not drastic. The patch worked great for me and hubby. It was worse going out but coming back was pretty smooth. We came home yesterday and we still feel like we are in motion! Our cabin had an obstructed view of lifeboats and we were offered a change by our group leader. We didnt take it because we were mid ship and could see some water in between the lifeboats. Next trip we will try a better view but it did not ruin our trip at all. The rooms were a very good size as was the bathroom. Big window. there were a few amenities like a soap dispenser in shower stall and lotion dispenser over the sink. There was a hair dryer that worked fine but not as strong as my own. NO irons. They don't want you to use one in the rooms but i brought a travel one anyway. No one complained. There was more than enough drawer space and a safe in the closet. Closet space was fine too. There were robes to use and buy if you wanted.

They gave us celebrity tote bags with beach towels to use for the beach. The bags were for keeping but not the towels. You could buy them also. We had chocolates and itineraries and little cards with the weather on them, put on your bed everyday. they straightened the room twice daily. We also had wake up calls and room service. Both were fine. One morning we didn't get the wake up call (automated). There were plenty of activities except when we were in port in Hamilton-it was rainy so no one went into town. Also Hamilton closes early . So the casino was closed and there was no entertainment (stage type). Just a band or piano player. They did have some other small things available. There was the usual bingo, movies, demonstrations like napkin folding, art auction. etc.

Pool area always had a game going on. The casino was fun and it seems the slots were loose the first night. We didn't gamble that much. This ship was easy to get around. We thought it was beautiful being out in the ocean all alone. We never saw another ship until we got into port. Of course Bermuda was just gorgeous! I had been there before. The beaches were to die for on the south end. That was around Elbow beach and Horseshoe Bay. Every turn was a beautiful view. I will miss it! We took a cab tour to south end about three hrs for $90 for 4 people. It was worth it because the drivers gave a lot of info. The bus would be cheaper but there is no commentary. We took the bus to the perfumery and the caves (worth seeing). In St George we went to a small hidden beach near St Catherine Beach (I didn't like that one) Too much seaweed and rocks in the water. The beach was call Achilles Beach. Tobacco Bay beach was smaller and more crowded and no shade. It was prettier than ST Catherins. Personally speaking I thought the beaches on south end by Hamilton and elbow beach was much better but this was all they had in ST George. The one we went to was a small beautiful Cove. So thats it for Our trip. In Summary-this was a great trip and we would do it again. Everything was fine and the ship was very nice. Anyone with questions can email me at MeJanee@aol.com. I will be more than happy to answer questions.
