My husband surprised me recently with my first cruise. We were anticipating great food, wonderful excursions and an exciting vacation. The reality was terrible food (Similar to the food served to me at my college dormitory). Very limited time at the ports meant no time to explore and enjoy the different islands. Our cabin was beautiful but was one of the largest on the ship. The ship stewards and butler worked very hard and definately made the overall experience nicer. Unfortunately for the cost and lack of quality, we will never cruise again!

The food was horrible! Most of the food was overcooked and mushy. Poor quality meat was hidden in goopy sauces. The buffets were the same every day and the food was common and poorly prepared. The buffets never had any decent seafood (no shrimp, crab, etc.) The buffets were opened for limited times. Truly this food was institutional food similar to the food you find in a college or hospital cafeteria.

The stateroom was lovely, spacious and clean. We had a nice size veranda and a big bathroom with a double bowl vanity and a jet tub.

Boring and frequently not happening!

Who can say. We were not in port long enough to do anything!

The trip was horrible, boring and a huge disapointment. I doubt my husband will ever agree to go on a nother cruise again based upon this one trip. The hot tub was cold...seriously it was the same temperature as the pool. The food was so bad and frequently there was nothing to do. When the ship was at sea the casino was not open. We spent lots of time walking around and looking for something to do. We were so happy for the trip to end!
