I absolutely loved the Magica. This is one of the
best vacations we have ever had.
Service: Spectacular. Our cabin steward was incredibly attentive.
Everyone on the ship was commenting about the incredible service. The crew, is
mostly Phillipino.
The shows: First class. They were all really fun and our cruise director,
Max, was extraordinary. He had a great personality and made everyone on the ship
feel like a family.
Dinners: Again, the wait staff was first class. The food was good. There
were two formal nights, one Italian night, a Roman Toga party, Tropical night,
etc.
Cleanliness: the ship was constantly being cleaned...decks scrubbed,
carpets steamed, etc. I was very impressed.
Staff overall - the cruise has a lot of Europeans on it, which makes it
really interesting and adds another dimension. The elevator floors are called
out in Italian, followed by English.
The staff is highly energetic and there are always surprises during dinners or
other occasions. We went with our daughters, ages 11 an 14 and they really
enjoyed it and met many other peers.
I would highly recommend a Costa Cruise. We got a good deal on the cruise...all
four of us went for $2,047...truly a value for a new, classy ship.
