I have to say I was very impressed with my first cruise on Costa. After cruising mainly on Carnival in the past, it was a nice change. Even embarking and disembarking was a pleasant experience. First of all it was the cleanest ship I have ever sailed on up to this point!

The staff was very friendly and the music on board in the various lounges was great a lot nicer than our previous cruise.

The food was very good in the dining room, we did try the specialty restaurant one evening but it was a little disappointing, service was no better than in the regular dining room.

Our cabin steward was very good, kept our cabin clean and neat thru out the cruise. The only negative thing I really can say about the entire cruise was the beds were very hard, not comfortable at all, my husband and I are used to much softer mattresses.

Having said that, my overall impression was very positive and I definitely would try Costa again in the future.
