We enjoyed our recent cruise on Costa which included ports in England, France, Spain, Portugal and Italy. We have always cruised Holland, but were willing to try something new. There were some kids on board, mostly toddlers. The few who were school age did not have many activities specifically designed for them.

We enjoyed the food, excellent choices at lunch and dinner. They have a great Happy Hour which runs at various times throughout the day: two drinks for the price of one!!

The cabins are very nicely situated and easy to maneuver. Our steward was excellent. We found the excursions to be well planned and excellent in content. I feel Costa is weak on their entertainment venues and English speaking televison stations! They were very accomodating to allow us an early departure on the last day.

This ship was built in 2002 and it rocks quite a bit, despite it's size. I was sea-sick twice to the point of taking medication. They charged me 3 Euros to post a card back to the US! So, beware of their offers to handle all of your mail. Overall, a very immaculate ship with excellent service and overall value. Bon Voyage!
