Linda Querio
Age: 46 to 55 What a disappointment- My biggest expectation for cruising was gourmet food. The menu for this 12 day trip was rated at Denney's... non-toxic but under whelming. 3 of the 14 people in our group LOST weight and nobody was sick! Soups were watery, salads were lettuce, tomato, shredded carrots- no matter what they were named on the menu. Salad dressings- off-the-shelf thousand island, French or blue ..Pizza bar- anything as long as it was cheese pizza- no other offering. Pasta? BORING. Lots of shapes- all with marinara, alfredo and occasionally pesto Dessert??? Usually 4 offerings/night. 2 of them would be: ice cream/ sherbert of fruit and cheese the other 2 choices were under whelming without fail. Also it was nearly impossible to get the vegetables to come with your entree- They appeared much later, usually after everyone was done with their entree. As far as the ship itself - rooms were great with lots of storage and large space. Staff for the cabins were great. NEVER AGAIN! Ask a Question About Costa Cruises
