This was my husband and I's third cruise. We cruised with Carnival and NCL before. We booked this cruise less then 2 weeks before sailing. So we found a great deal (under $400 a person for a seven day cruise/ocean view room).

I thought embarking went fairly smooth. The waiting room was full of helpful staff and lots of seats and was air conditioned. I personally would rather sit and be comfortable to wait to board then to have to stand around with my luggage.

This ship was probably the largest we had been on. It wasn't too fancy but still nice. The pool was a good size and there were plenty of deck chairs all around it. Our room were a decent size but you really could hear what was going on in the rooms next door.

The staff was efficient. Not really overly friendly (besides the people who plan out the ship activities) but did their jobs.

The food on this ship was ok. Out of our three cruises this food was the worst but everything was edible and there was lots of food at all times of the day. I was disappointed with the pasta selection at dinner. I wanted to try a pasta since it is considered an Italian cruise line. But every pasta selection had seafood in it that week and I don't like seafood.

The entertainment was good. About the same level as the other cruises we had been on.

We stopped at Key West, Progresso, Cozumel and Grand Cayman. I personally could do without key west but the other islands were great. Although if you don't' book a tour thru the cruise line at Progresso there isn't much to do there. We went on the tour to Chichen Itza and had a fabulous time.

Overall we enjoyed the cruise. Everything about the cruise seemed average. I think a vacation is what you make of it and we made sure to have a good time. We aren't picky people. We just wanted to get out of the snowy weather in PA and enjoy ourselves. For the price of our cruise we got to go to 4 islands in 7 days for how much it cost us to go to Colorado one year for 5 days. So it was definitely worth it.
