Established in 1988 by Nippon Yusen Kaisha of Japan, the world's largest shipping company, Crystal Cruises offers the comforts of a luxury line and the range amenities of the premium lines' usually larger ships, creating a unique ultra deluxe experience. The company's first ship, Crystal Harmony, entered service in 1990, sister ship Crystal Symphony in 1995 and finally, the Crystal Serenity in 2003.
