Originally built in 1926, this world-famous riverboat entered service with Delta Queen Steamboat Co in 1947. A U.S. National Historic Landmark, she is the last original steamboat doing overnight cruises. Her list of celebrity passengers is too long to give an account of.

Excerpts from Delta Queen Steamboat's Website Intimate, romantic, and a National Historic Landmark, the Delta Queen is the only remaining example of the thousands of paddlewheel steamers that once plied our great American waterways. She truly is America's Steamboat. Here, in the warm, yet elegant atmosphere of a 19th-century home, you'll experience a most gracious welcome. All of her 87 charming outside staterooms feature period furnishings - many of them genuine antiques - and include home-spun touches such as patchwork quilts, collectibles, brass fittings and quaintly wood-shuttered windows from which to view your portrait of America.
