Was our first Disney cruise, have been on others. This worked out great for our family, we the grandparents, daughter and son in law and 13 and 16 year old grandchildren. This has something for everyone. With some ground rules laid, the younger ones went to different activities for their age group on the ship and met and made friends. The adults had a chance to be with them or on a separate area reserved for over 18 which was a great idea. The way they did the dining was excellent since we all had different things going on during the day. It was rotational with all of us meeting at a specific time to sit and eat together. Was not sure about an 8:00 pm seating for them, but worked out great - got to see shows both before and after dinner if we wanted to.

We had a balcony room (which I would recommend on any cruise if you can get one) - just a little bit of private and quiet outside space..

The food was very good and the first three nights each restaurant was service a different menu so that we had a chance to try the different cuisines they were having. After that, the meals were the same in all of the restaurants.

There were two restaurants that could be booked as extras but when I initially went on line when we were booking, it said that Palo was all booked so we did not eat there and made arrangements with the rest of our group. We did find out that there were openings once we arrived but they were on days when we already had specifics things we were doing. (Palo and Remy are both adult only)

The one that was most fun was Animators palate on the first night - had to be seen to enjoy.

Clean, good size - as mentioned above we had a balcony room which we always enjoy. We our kids were on same floor two doors down which was great. We could have had adjoining rooms opening into each other, but that is too much togetherness.....

Extensive activities for all age groups, well organized. Best part about being a Disney cruise, is that ANYTHING Disney was available and the characters were all well known.

The only disappointment we had on the excursions was our last day which was Castaway Key but the problem had NOTHING to do with cruise line, even the "Mouse" cannot control the weather. It was quite cool so the adult side of the beach was almost empty which would have been ok, but we were used to the hot weather and found it too cool.

We joined the kids and still had fun.

Thoroughly enjoyed it, celebrated my birthday with my husband, Daughter and son in law and grandchildren. They are an age that this may be the last time to get them all together. So for a family cruise experience, would totally recommend.

We also met several adults, with no children that have taken Disney cruise several times so there is fun for all.
