This is
part of Walts Dream..True to his reflections even though not with us now.
The Disney Magic is huge and spacious, actually exactly 100 ft shorter than the largest
aircraft carrier afloat. I include this because I don't think anyone got seasick on our cruise, as
you hardly knew it was moving. They have a fully staffed hospital on board and dispenses medicine if
needed.
We met
the bus at our resort and headed to Port Canaveral a little after 1 PM and we were onboard the ship
by 3PM Our luggage arrived in our room in just a short amount of time and everything was great. Let
me tell you the rooms are perfect! Large and plenty of space for your luggage including two separate
bath areas one with toilet the other sink and bath with shower. very smart with
The
Cruise was absoultly perfect in every way, you had a schedule put under your door every night
describing the shows and events that were available the next day. This made every thing easy to plan
and the show which i liked was "Disney Dreams" true to the true Disney touch and its a
show you will not soon forget. The Disney theatre was magnificent, get their early as the theatre
fills
Dinner
was superb. Trully excellent food at all four meals, and served by very good waiters that really
cared about how you meal was. Even thought this ship is built with children in mind, we were never
interrupted by their presence at all, we really have to say the folks at Disney did a great number
on planning it that way, the adult pool and all.)
The trip
to Nassau was very pleasant even if it rained for a short period, then it was nice, try the horse
and buggy ride and enjoy the slow pace and visit some of the shops. We went to Atlantis Casino on
Paradise Island on a tour which included a tour of the Harbor.. Very interesting narration by the
natives. The Atlantis Casino and Ocean aquarium is something not to miss.. the largest indoor
collection in the world. .Don't miss the Piranha's (about 1000 in the same aquarium just waiting to
be fed.)
The next
day we awoke in Castaway Cay and went to the most beautiful Island, complete with huge crystal clear
beaches, both for children and one separate for adults.. They had a bar-b-cue to die for and they
had everything you could imagine for lunch and plenty of everything to eat. It all ended by 4:30 as
the ship had to leave before low tide.
Next day
was a pleasant day at sea and enjoyed every minute of it. No phones etc. all in all I don't think
you will find a nicer ship done up the way this was put together, especially with the nice way
Disney put the finishing touches aboard and the complete character enhancements
.Children and Children at heart will truly love this ship and everything about it.
Just
remember this is a ship built for children and their parents and if you don't mind them and are like
us you will enjoy every minute of your cruise Ask a Question About Disney Cruises
