This was my 3rd cruise overall but first one with kids and while I was looking forward to it, I was also a bit apprehensive about the logistics of traveling with kids. This cruise more than exceeded my expectations. Everything was well-organized from getting on the boat, getting off the boat, meals, luggage delivery, shore excursions, etc. The best part was that the kids were the focus of the trip (although lots of stuff for grown-ups too) and that made us parents able to relax and enjoy ourselves too. Food was overall excellent - on par with other cruising experiences. Appreciated that the kids menu went beyond the typical chicken fingers/hamburger/pizza/mac-n-cheese menu to include different things every night like pork chops, pasta and vegetables, etc. We dined in Palo one night (without kids) and the meal was really excellent. Only drawback was having a single beverage station on the 9th floor. Would have appreciated more availability of (free) beverages on the 3rd-5th floors. Excellent. We had a curtain divider between where the kids slept and where we slept, so we didn't have to time our "lights out" for the kids bedtime. Stateroom host was very accomodating about having the bunk set up for naptime. Rooms were clean - split bathroom a big plus. Balcony was a nice size. Great - we enjoyed the movies, evening entertainment and had plenty of "character" time. We did not take advantage of any of the kids club activities but heard they were great. Pirate's party left a little to be desired - didn't start until 9:30 pm and food wasn't served until 10:30 pm. Leave the little ones in the stateroom for this night. Would recommend all of the evening shows - everyone in our group from the 3 year old to the grandparents - enjoyed them. Enjoyed the nautilus excursion on Grand Cayman (perfect for young kids). This was our only shore excursion but it was extremely well organized and easy to manage. Castaway Cay was my favorite stop because it had everything you needed for a beach day easy accessible. Could have done without Cozumel but we saw it on a rainy day, so that may be an unfair review. We spent 7 nights on Disney Magic visiting Key West, Cayman, Cozumel, and Castaway Cay. Our weather was overall good but we had 2 cool/overcast/rainy days. We rarely were at a loss for something to do. Topsiders buffet was great for breakfast and lunch and the dining rooms were all wonderful for dinner. Getting on and off was extremely easy and well organized. Very little wait time anywhere and we were always able to get good seats for the evening shows. All the cruise staff were amazing - friendly, helpful, and genuinely interested in exceeding our expectations. Castaway Cay was great!
