This was my 2nd cruise and 4th for my husband. We
have a daughter that’s 3. I was also traveling with 2 first time cruisers. I
have to say, compared to what I saw on the other liner, this ship was fabulous.
DISEMBARKATION/EMBARKATION
Getting on and off the ship was pretty much a breeze. There were no lines and
you could come and go as you pleased. Plus they announce you and you come on
board, which was really cute, and fun idea.
ENTERTAINMENT
The shows were classic Disney and the kids loved them. First class all the way.
Although, due to our dining time, we went to the shows later and it made for
tired kids.
DINING
I love the restaurant rotations with the waiters. Each restaurant gave a
different ambiance and flavor. The staff was very nice and the Matre'D helped us
immensely on the first night when our dining tables got split up. The food was
good not great but good. We didn't get a chance to eat in the adults only
restaurant Palo because we ran out of time.
ACTIVITIES
The Oceaneer's club and lab were unbelievable. Disney sparred no expense to
ensure that the kids on board would have an excellent time. When I came to pick
up my daughter, she didn't even want to come with me (she had a little meltdown)
That’s how much fun she was having. They are open from morning to night and they
even feed the kids lunch or dinner if you don't come back for them. At the port
Castaway Cay, they continue the activities onshore for the kids and you can
leave them there as well. All within a pager's reach.
Overall, I would recommend this cruise to anyone that loves a clean ship, a
festive atmosphere and good clean family fun.
