I will start by saying that this was my first and last cruise. I found the time on the ship to be boring with the major focus being your next meal.
Embarking and disembarking went well. The staff couldn't have been better. The food was average at best. If you like eating at the Golden Coral you will love this cruise.
The children's activities could be compared to a daycare with occasional visits by Disney characters. There was very little for adults.
We stopped at Nassau and Castaway Cay. We booked a room at Atlantis so we could use the pools. Atlantis was fun but I wouldn't want to spend a whole week. Nassau was not the great shopping experience that Disney tries to sell. Castaway Cay was also great but the reviewer that stated the food was great needs to get out more.
We have never encountered as many rude as we did on this cruise.
My suggestion for families wanting a Disney experience would be to stop in LA for one day and go to Disneyland. I would then proceed to Hawaii where the pools are better, the people are nicer, and the activities are fun for everyone.
