Excellent. First time cruising and Disney made it so easy to get on the ship and off. Paperwork is sent to you a couple of weeks ahead of leaving along with tags for your luggage. If everything is filled out, getting on the ship only takes 15 minutes or so. Disney statrs you off with a friendly announcement while boarding the ship and you get your picture taken. Pictures are taken throughout you cruise and are available for purchase.

I thought the food was very good. Each night we got assigned to a different restraunt. The service was great. Recommendations were made each night and were very good. You could try new things and order something else if it wasn't what you wanted. If you chose to stay in your stateroom for the evening free room service. All the soda and tea was free on deck 9. The midnight buffets were great and the 50 dessert bar was fantastic. Too much food to pick from! There is a pizza place and hotdog place on the 9th deck along with icecream. The kids could grab a snack whenever they needed it. You should never be hungry on a disney cruise.

We were in the deluxe family stateroom with verandah. there was plenty of room and the room was always clean. The attendant would be in and out before we ever saw him. The towel animals were adorable and the kids loved them! Seperate shower from toilet is handy when there are 5 people in the stateroom.

Entertainment was great! The live shows were beautiful. We have two boys ages 7 and a girl age 2 and a half. They loved watching their favorite characters and all the music. They stayed entertained because they recognize those characters from their favorite movies. All the onboard parties were fun. Especially pirate night and the midnight showing of pirates 2 with 50 choice dessert bar. The fireworks were beautiful!
They had schedules handed out each night so you could plan you next days activites. They had game shows and karoke night. All the characters had phot opertunites and schedules so you knew when they would be out. We went early Novemer and the ship was already decorated for Christmas. All the pictures were stunning.

Excursions were a bit expensive and a waste. We booked the glass bottom boat tour in the bahamas. basically they take you out on a samll old boat with a strip of glass on the bottom, and throw out bread to attract fish. You are there for about 45 minutes and then come back. you do get a funny tour guide who shows you all the celebrity homes on the shore as you pass them. Great rum punch on board ;)
My husband went snorkeling in the bahamas and said the free snorkeling at Castaway Cay was a lot better! He too was brought out to a remote spot with very little fish.

Overall great trip. Expensive but if you book early you can pay it off overtime before you actual date to embark. Disney is top notch and we have already booked two more cruises with them in the next two years. This cruiseline allows you to basically go on vacation and not need to pay for anything except alcohol and tipping. Why spend the extra for Palo restaurant when the food at other restraunts is so good and included? No need for a soda card like other ships or a head charge for restraunts like other ships. Disney is worth the money!
