This was our first cruise and we had a wonderful time. The pools were crowded but our two kids spent most of their time in the kids clubs. The shows were fantastic. We did the Bahamas Blue Lagoon Beach day. It was nice, the 45 minute boat ride was long and hot, I suggest staying until 4pm to get your moneys worth. If I had known more about the Bahamas we probably would've taken a taxi to a private beach, but this was much easier. Disney's Castaway Cay was our favorite. We had no problems finding lounge chairs to sit at even though we didn't get off the boat until almost 10am. There were no lines for pictures, so we took tons of pics with the Disney Characters. Our kids enjoyed the kids club located on the island while my husband and I biked around the island.

The food was good. I am a vegatarian switching over to veganism and the servers were very helpful with selections. Beach Blanket Buffet was best for breakfast and also for lunch offering the most variety and kid friendly options. We had the late dinner seating and our younger son couldn't stay awake so we ordered room service for him around 5pm, attended the nightly show then sent him off to the kids club while we had dinner. By the time we picked him up he went straight to bed. The food on Castaway Cay was great, they offered a veggie burger and veggie chili. My husband had some grilled fish that he seemed to really enjoy.

We got the cheapest stateroom we could since we wouldn't be spending much time in the room. It was small, but we expected that but it was nice, plenty of room for the four of us and all of our things. There is alot of storage areas in the stateroom. I also brought an over-the-door organizer for smaller items, that worked well. The room was dark and quiet.

The Oceaneers Lab and Club were fantastic. Our two boys couldn't seem to get enough of it. The Deck parties were hopping and crowded. All the live shows were great. My husband and I did the couples massage at the vista spa which was nice but they are very pushy with their products afterward, we also attended a detox seminar which proved to be another way for them to push "treatments" which was really disappointing.
