This was our first cruise with Disney, I can summorize it in one word, WOW! From the moment we got onto the ship until we left we never stopped smiling and having fun. It is truely a real vacation. I have a daughter that is 8 years old and she was in awe the entire time. I have never heard a kid say so many times WOW! If you want the best vacation you will EVER have, go on a Disney Cruise.

The food was fantastic! You will never be hungry unless you hate food. The main dining is a four course meal that would cost your family well over $100-$150.00. There are shows wile you dine in some dining areas. Your hostes/ess will be there at your becking call. You will never be looking around to get your drink refilled. You will be asking yourself where did this new drink come from though. The food on deck is your typical hotdogs, hamburger, and chicken fingers. There are buffet's if you want that are all very good eating. Breakfast was OK. I was not very impressed with breakfast. The omlets were good but the rest was just ok.

Stateroom was great. Had a view of the outside wich was beautiful. The stateroom host/ess was great. My daughter loved all of the towel animals that he made. TV played Disney movies and classics during the entire trip. Bed was very comfortable and my daughter ended up sleeping on the hideaway which she said was very nice. Very clean always, and good price.

The activities were amazing!!! All the Entertainers were fabulous!! The music was a mix of classics with some new stuff for the kids. If you like dancing to all the classics at just about every wedding you have ever been to, then join the deck parties. You will be in heaven. There is something for everyone onboard. You should never be without something to do. When you get on board make your way to the Goofy pool and join the sailaway party. Also, don't miss the Pirates of the Carribean party. Both will make you glad you made the decision to sail with Disney

I was not impressed with the Bahamas. It is dirty, old, and everyone within a 10 foot radius wants to sell you something. Key West was very nice. I would advise not trying to walk to the southern point. It is a round trip of 5 miles. We did it with the 100 degree temp and we were dying. Castaway Cay was the best. Your own little island where you can lay around, or swim in the ocean. They have all water crafts and boats you want. You can rent Snorkles, Fins, tubes, and floats for a small fee. Advice, Travel down further on the beach. There are less people and you will feel less cramped. There is a teen only and adult only beach as well if you don't want to be around the families. There are plenty of chairs, umbrellas, shades.

I loved every part of our Disney cruise. I can't wait until the next cruise. We have been on two cruises, Carnival and Disney, If you want to party all the time, then Carnival is for you, If you want to have a great family vacation, you can't go wrong with Disney. Be carefull with your "Key to the World" card. It is very easy to run up a large bill when you just swipe your card and sign your name. No cash is used anywhere on the cruise line. Just watch your spending. Hope this helps the next dad who wants to have the best family vacation ever.
