First of all my name is Evelyn, this was my first cruise. My friend, Betty went with me. We flew to Fort Lauderdale, at the bottom of the escalator, we were met by a Royal Caribbean Agent, who told us since we didn't' want to buy transfers we could get a cab for $10.00, and we did and boom there was the cab and we were on the way. There was long lines to board the ship, but movement went fast. We went to our room which was an inside room, plenty of room. Then we went to the Windjammer to eat lunch (we were starving) buffet style. very good. The ship just beautiful. Our dinner at night was very good and the service was wonderful. My friend and like the sun so on the first day we were at sea, we laid by the pool all day! It was in the 90's but with the wind blowing it didn't seem as hot as it was. Boy! Did I get a tan!!
We visited Ocho Ricos, Jamaica, we went to the 40ft. falls and the 600 foot falls, we did climb them, it was awesome.
The next day we went to the Cayman Islands, we had to take little boats over to the island because, they could not dock on shore, too shallow. The Cayman Islands are just beautiful and the water is so blue, it was a wonderful day so pretty, weather good.
At seas again and in the sun again!, If you don't like the sun, there is all kinds of things to do on the ship, they make sure you have plenty to do. Matt the cruise director is a very funny man, and the shows they have every night in the auditorium are wonderful. This was my first cruise but it will not be my last!! If you are hesitant about going on a cruise don't be, it will be the best vacation you ever took!! Royal Caribbean staff have it going on they know what they are doing, we never waiting in line for nothing. This is by far the best vacation I have ever had!!!
