I sailed on Black Prince thinking that other
cruises I had been on were budget cruises. With my travel, and
Thompson's, they were far superior in quality of food and service. The
Black Prince should have been pensioned off long ago. it is beginning to
show its getting tired and it also does not travel well in heavy seas.
On the first day at sea it was a bit rough and then we hit the bay of
Biscay, half of the passengers on the ship spent 2 days in their cabin
being seasick, One of the lecturers on the ship said he was on the same
cruise at Christmas and he thought he was going to die because of rough
weather and such a small ship. I asked why he did it and he said it was
for the money. All in all, I would never travel on this ship again. It's
too small and the quality of service is not as good as others that I
have been on, Considering how much more I paid, some people were happy
but they had booked through a travel agent and got it a lot cheaper
