A very beautiful ship. Staterooms that are not just a place to hang some clothes and to sleep in. Our verandah suite never got cramped during our seven days at sea. The spaciousness of the verandah itself was amazing and really made the trip a very relaxing experience. The Lido buffet is unispired and routine. During meal-times there are perhaps half as many seats as needed and the staff are slow to clear dirty tables. The main dining room menus were disappointing. I prefer a good surf and turf and don't mind trying new things, but give me the choice. The bread was always cold, the service was always slow, and the wait staff seldom introduced themselves, seemingly concentrating only on avoiding your eyes and needs. Las Caletas was a nice experience in Puerta Vallarta. Cabo dockside is packed with beggars and way-over-priced restaurants. Mazatlan's 'Gold Zone' had a really good open air restaurant right near the diamond place the taxis drop you. We enjoyed the shrimps and margaritas immensely.
