This is was my first cruise ever and my last for this ship. I was expecting a
fancy, elegant ship but found myself disappointed when we boarded the ship.
It took 3 hours for registration, so i would advise you to arrive extra early,
or about 30 minutes before ship leaves port.
The food on board was not at all as I expected. Maybe my expectations were a
little high, but the cruise basically provided 3 meals/day when we were given
the idea of 6 meals/day. The dinners were a little more elegant. It was almost
like a 4 course meal which i enjoyed the most.
There was only 1 small pool and 1 small whirlpool which we did not get to use
since there was already so much other people swimming in it.
The ship itself was very old and almost scary. There was always a bad odor in
the rooms. I have upgraded my room to an outside cabin therefore it wasn't as
bad. If you're expecting a nicer room, i would suggest the upgrade, i've seen
the other rooms and it's just bunk beds, like in the movie Titanic. The bathroom
was very small and crowded, the toilet is faced in an odd position, almost right
next to the door. The casino is really small, probably about a total of 40 slots
with one roulette and 2 black jack tables, and a bar.
As for the service, the staff on board were extremely helpful and friendly.
While on board, my boyfriend and I basically stayed in our cabin and watched tv.
There was not a lot of interesting events that took place. The on board shows
were a little like adult talent shows. There was almost nothing to do on the
ship.
As for the excursions, i would recommend snorkeling and the blue lagoon island.
It is beautiful which made the trip worth while.
For the most part, i would recommend to NOT waste your money on this cruise. Pay
the extra dollars and get something more worth while.
