My husband and I had never been on a cruise before so we decided to go on the
Nassau cruise for our second anniversary.
We really did enjoy the cruise, and all of the meals. The drinks however were
pretty pricey( t the price of 1.75 for a coke) they could have not charged a
gratuity to every drink. They made it seem as if the 19.50 you paid before
boarding the ship for gratuities during the cruise were all you paid, wrong
every drink you buy has a gratuity added to the price. Although we didn't mind
that as much as the fact that we were in Nassau on a Sunday and were told
nothing would be open but two or so shops and Senor Frog's (which by the way is
wonderful) so we spent 55.00 per person to go on the glass bottom boat where you
are treated as a herd of cattle and really don't see any fish out of the
ordinary, then you go to the Blue Lagoon, where you can see more fish off of the
bridge and swimming with you than on the glass bottom boat, where you eat what
is suppose to be an authentic lunch and you get hamburgers and hot-dogs, if you
want to go shopping you have to rush so you can catch the 2p.m. boat back to the
mainland so you can go shop. Once we got back to the mainland to shop we had a
really nice time though.
Point to take in is DO NOT LET THEM MAKE YOU
THINK NOTHING WILL BE OPEN AND TAKE ON OF THE EXCURSIONS OFFERED BY THE ISLAND
RESIDENTS WITH CREDENTIALS AS IT IS MUCH CHEAPER AND THE OTHERS THAT DID THIS
WERE REALLY HAPPY WITH THE SERVICE THEY GOT AND THE THINGS THEY GOT TO DO AND
SEE.
