My husband made the arrangements to go on this
cruise, so I had no idea what it would be like. He had told me he never
wanted to go on a cruise. This was part of a package deal that he bought
when we were called. After going on this 2 day cruise, we're both ready
to go again. All of the staff were the nicest people. The first evening
we left our room a mess. I was surprised to come back in a little while
and it was all cleaned up. Gatot took such good care of us. We gave him
an extra tip.
The ship is old, but we didnt mind. It is very clean. The talent on the
ship is amazing. The shows both nights were as good or better than a Las
Vegas Review. The pianist can play any song you request. He has a book
of over 1000 songs and he can play any of them. There was a couple
fellows who were entertaining in the back of the ship. They were really
good too. People were also enjoying Kareokie (sp?)
There was sooo much great entertainment. I wanted to listen to it all.
The food was awesome.
We met another couple the first evening and learned that we had alot in
common. We spent the day @ the casino and seeing some of the island in a
stretch limo. We spent the rest of the time getting to know them and
exchanged phones and emails. We're hoping they'll come to Washington to
see us and thy invited us to come see them in Florida. We have a
vacation cabin in our back yard and we told them they could come and
stay free.
The lady in the motorized wheelchair who gave a not very good review on
this site should maybe stay home. We LOVED the cruise and will go back.
God Bless all the hard working staff on the Regal Empress! THANK YOU!
