We travel quite a bit but this cruise was our first cruise. This two-day cruise was affordable, and sufficed to show us whether or not we would enjoy cruising. From the moment we stepped on board, we started eating! The food, service and entertainment are wonderful! Tasty food, happy and eager crew and spicy entertainment. The ship is older and smaller. Our room was small and crowded but that was our choice; we had what we needed; our cabin steward did extra things to make us laugh (he made a dog out of a towel and put my sunglasses on it!). Note that if you drink, you can save money by asking for refills! They don't tell you certain things like that, the key is talking to other passengers. The on-board activities were fun with Las Vegas style entertainment. The casino was small with only Black Jack and slots-but good payouts!

Nassau was rundown, economically deprived and dirty. Most of the problems are due to the devastation from the 2004 hurricanes. The people are friendly. We took a private shore excursion that we booked on our own. People said that all of the shore excursions were good. other people complained about the ship being smaller and older but if you want a longer cruise on a more expensive ship, then pay the price and go there. When you book the cruise you see a poor rating--don't believe it, experience it yourself and see that you can have fun or make yourself miserable by complaining! We had everything we needed, everyone was pleasant and serviced our every need. We will cruise again on this ship and on others. Thanks Imperial Majesty, this was by far the best two days of vacation that I have ever spent!
