Island Escape

This ship was the world's largest-ever cruise ferry when it entered service as the Scandinavia in 1982. Rebuilt as a Royal Caribbean cruise ship in 1990, she was named Viking Serenade for over the decade, before being transferred to Island Cruises in early 2002. The ship now caters to a predominantly British clientele.

While relaxing just comes naturally aboard the Island Escape, recreation can be just as rewarding. With our state-of-the-art Island Gym and Health Club you can choose from training to treatments depending on your mood. Or how about a coffee and chat at the onboard Costa Coffee shop where you can sip on hot lattes or cool your day with and iced coffee? If retail therapy is more your style the ship's duty free shops are open as we sail. There is also a cyber café on board from where you can design your own virtual postcard and make all those at home green with envy! Relax... Island has thought of everything.
