Originally built in 1982 as the Atlantic for the now defunct Home Lines this ship later became one of Premier Cruise Line's Big Red Boats before being acquired by Mediterranean Shipping Cruises in 1997. The Melody is deployed in the Mediterranean during the summer months and in the Caribbean during the winter season.
