We visited Nassau, St. Thomas, San Juan, and Labadee(Haiti). We had been to all of these ports before, with the exception of Labadee. All of the ports were fabulous with St. Thomas being the best for shopping and Labadee for beach/island fun. A word of caution on island excursions: the description does not always provide an accurate representation of the excursions content. The rainforest tour, for instance, in San Juan. The tour is long with most of your time spent in an old school bus speeding through San Juan traffic. However, once in El Junque you will have a fabulous hour or so. Then you 'll take a teeth clinching ride back to port. I also do not reccommend the St. John Beach tour, not because it is not beautiful. The beach it's self is among the best in the world, however so much time and effort is put into making it there and back that you need the time at the beach just to recover from the trip. I would suggest the Meagan's Bay beach tour as an alternative.

The ship, in a word, WOW! Just imagine a world class all inclusive resort where the secenery changes constantly. The staff and the service they provide was, with few exceptions, fabulous!! And the food was pleniful, well prepared, and elegantly presented. All the bars, and there are a lot of them, stock only "top shelf" brands. And the bar staff will go out of their way to please you. The shows are above average with some being spectacular. And as advice when the show is described as for adults only, believe them it is. The cruise director and his staff went out of thier way to bring everyone exactly what they paid for... the best vacation of their life.

As a practical matter, I reccommend a Junior Suite as the best value. The room has enough size and ammenties to make you feel right at home(as in not on a ship). And if purchasing items on the ship your patience will save you money. We booked a return cruise on this same ship on our second day into the cruise... it was that good!!! We hope you have a great cruise too! And as they say "Get out there...."
