My sister-in law and I took a 10 day group tour . This cruise was my eighth cruise and fourth cruise line that I have been on. This was the worst cruise that I have been on so far. I did not have any say in the room that we were assigned since it was booked as a block. But I do have a say in judging the room. We were assigned an inside cabin on the 8th floor in the very front of the ship. The rooms were very tiny, the beds were not comfortable at all and the pillows were awful. I will say that the housekeeping staff did a good job and was very friendly.

The Garden Cafe had very few offerings of food and very small portions. The menu never changed The 24hr cafe was not any better. Juice was only offered in the morning for breakfast, if you wanted it the rest of the day you had to pay for it. If you wanted coffee during the day you had to go to the cafe to get it. The only snacks available for purchase was chocolate and crunchy cheese curls. What do you do if you can't eat chocolate? They sell Tide on the ship but no laundry room to use it. The shows were fine and the crew was friendly. I found little glamour in the ship and it will be a long time if ever, that I cruise with Norwegian again. Freestyling is not very free. With only two dining rooms to choose from that are free and 5 that you pay for. Most cruise lines are just the opposite. Demos were practically non existent. I like cooking demos. They had none. I like tours of the ship. They did offer one that you had to pay for. It cost just as much if not cheaper to go on a shore excursion. The casino on the ship was typical of other ships. I did order a coffee while I was playing the slots and they charged me for it. Coffee is not always free. The only good thing that I have to say that it was a nice break from the cold of winter in Connecticut. I have been to the ports of call before with other cruise lines so I have nothing to say about them.

I think the food has a lot to be desired. Few choices and small portions. Very little variety and cooked in advance and kept warm but the heat lights. the 24 hr cafe has very little to offer. My thought on the food was that I didn't like it.

Small, clean and uncomfortable.

The onboard activities could uses a little more variety but they were okay. I found that during the morning or early afternoon there was very little to do.

The excursions that I took were basic tours that gave you an overall view on the islands. This ship on a ten day cruise docked in Puerto Rico, St. Thomas, St Maarten, Antigua, and Tortola. I found the tour guides to be very good at their job and friendly. I would advice to take a basic tour of the ports of call.

A good break from the winter blues. I'm at the point of cruising where I've been there and done that. I cruise because I love to cruise. Part of cruising is enjoying food that you don't have to cook. I can honestly say that for the first time that I did not like a ship's food. In the evening I enjoyed listening to the piano player for a couple of hours each night. He had a very pleasant voice and played a wide selection of songs that I enjoyed listening to. He had quite a following every evening. The crew was very friendly. If I had a chance to go on this ship again my answer would be no.
