In the middle of the night a door to our state room swung open and someone appeared in the doorway.
Next day security told us a room service person opened a door for a "lost" passenger. I complained to the hotel director. She really did not care. She half way apologized but never said such intrusions would never happened again.
I've sent a letter to company headwaters. Their replay was superficial. NCL never made good on our spoiled vacation and never assured us such an incident would never happen again. In my view the incident happened because of poor staff training . Base on our experience NCL hires the cheapest manpower and does not train its people. Most likely it was our last trip on NCL.
Food was good. Not the best but good. But waiters really did not know their trade. My guess they are not being trained properly. Once my friend asked for cream cheese. A waiter never brought the cream cheese and behaved like no request was made. The food in cafeteria on the 12th deck was awful. Space is tight. Tables were not cleaned.
State room was fairly good
Activities were avarage.
Did not go on excursions
As I said after becoming a platinum member, this was probably the last cruise on NCL.
