This cruise was my first cruise. I did not know what to expect of NCL. The reviews on the Internet are from terrible negative to extremely positive. Everybody is different, so I just booked the cruise and hoped for the best. Being this my first time to cruise I could not compare with any other experience but this was a great experience. NCL is freestyle cruising meaning that we could eat whenever whatever. This style is the most perfect style to have a really relaxing holiday. To be at a certain time at a certain table every night with the same passengers to eat something, would drive me crazy. There are 4 restaurants included in the price and 8 restaurants which charge extra from $10 dollars to $25. We have eaten mostly in the extra charge restaurants and the qualitiy was very good to excellent. We ate 3 times in the other restaurants and the quality was good to very good. We stayed in a AF mini suite for two days (nice and luxury with a big balcony) and then switched to a penthouse suite (superb!) Very good. Did not make any excursions due to a injured leg. I would really advise everyboday to try NCL and also the Jade. Super friendly people on board and excellent service. Clean and nice activities and shows. Great casino and Spa. Clean and colourfull decorated. Freestyle!!!
