 Norwegian Crown

Norwegian Crown has been retired and is no longer in service

The Norwegian Crown was formerly the Crown Odyssey operated by NCL's sister company, Orient Lines. She was originally launched in 1988 for Royal Cruise Line, this handsome vessel was taken over by Norwegian Cruise Line in 1996. After four years under the NCL flag, she was transferred to sister company Orient Lines in 2000. Constructed as a long-distance cruiser, she is an ideal ship for that company. In 2003, she was transferred back to NCL as the Norwegian Crown

Up until a few weeks ago, I actually favored NCL. Not any more. As you may know, the Crown went out of its channel and was stranded on top of a reef pit side King's Wharf en route to...read more

This is a copy of letter that was sent to NCL regarding the above cruise. We received responses in the way of a mail merge and the letter is a slap in the face. This was my first cruise and...read more

This was by far the worst cruise I have ever been on. I have cruised NCL in the past and enjoyed every minute of it, even the food. But this time the menu in the Seven Seas restaurant was...read more
