Itinerary: Bermuda
This was my first cruise ever and I had it with my mom's side of the family, and
NCL Crown made this family reunion the best experience! Not only were the staff
friendly overall( however, the female performers who also worked on the ship
were not. They were 'fake' friendly' and at times, we heard them use a lot of
profanities on the ship when they thought no one was around. I'm a teacher so
maybe I notice these things more, but there were enough small children on board
to require more discretion from them) and accommodating, Bermuda was awesome!
Tobacco Bay is a lagoon with very still waters, but watch out for the sharp
little rocks at the bottom. However, the small beach with soft, warm sand and
friendly staff at that bar made up for it. As well, we went to Horseshoe Bay in
Hamilton (2nd port) and that was awesome. The pink beaches weren't exactly pink
though. Great for those who can swim well because the rip tides are dangerous.
But there are lifeguards there as opposed to Tobacco Bay.
The wait staff at the Seven Seas (a la carte restaurant) were so friendly and
they really did remember your likes and dislikes. My cousins and I especially
liked Oliver, Georges, Edgar, and Jorge.
The Yacht Club had great buffet for breakfast and lunch. We always dined at the
Seven Seas for dinner because the food was just amazing. A lot of variety. The
buffet had lots of good food and their wait staff was always there with a smile
especially Lee and Hugo.
Our room steward was really nice and got our rooms cleaned up just as soon as we
left and took off the DO NOT DISTURB sign.
The pool was smaller than expected, but it only took 10 min or less to find
someone leaving a deck chair and we had our time in it. The Italian Cafe on the
deck was brilliant!
Hopefully we will travel with NCL again. We all had a great time!
