The overall experience was poor. The buffet food was bland and lacked any sort of healthy selection other than a small salad selection. The rest of the buffet was heavy sauce laden poor cuts of meat, the rice was constantly undercooked and hard and the deserts were barely mediocre. The cruise was a constant commercial trying to sell gold necklaces by the inch or alcohol duty free. Every time they ran an announcement advertising their sales, they would shut the channels on the television off to be sure you were paying attention to hear their sale on products; extremely irritating. Half of the things in the cabin were broken, the shower door, the safe, the clothes drying line, all non-functioning and not fixed even though we brought it to their attention within the first few days. There were cigarette burns all over the sink where previous passengers obviously forgot their cigarette while showering or whatever, but was not repaired before we got there. The bartenders were rude when we attempted to take advantage of the free soda promotion we were offered as part of our booking the trip (although the bar manager was quite attentive and met with us to resolve the issue, kudos to him) On this ship be sure to watch out for the crew, because they will not wait for you to go by to finish their work, they expect you to wait for them to finish what they are doing for you to get by.

The buffet was bad. We did not partake in the "cover charge" dining so I cannot offer an opinion on that, but judging by the buffet quality, we decided not to pay for bad food.

Lots of broken amenities, safe did not function, shower door was broken, clothes drying line stuck out, cigarette burns all over the sink, mattress was well worn out with a gigantic dent it in from too many years of service.

The only activities worth seeing were shown in the smaller venues and could not get a seat even though we went 30 mins before the show to get a seat.

Would rather have flown to Bermuda, would have spent more time enjoying the sites and sun and less time wishing I was not on the ship.
