I sailed on the NCL Dawn that departed Miami on 2/11/11 on a nine day cruise. It made only two or the scheduled five ports and substitued two others due to engne problems. NCL knew this before we departed, but did't advise us until the second day out. This was a dissapointment because we had specific reasons for visiting the scheduled ports that were missed.
The food was good with adequate portion sizes. I do object to paying a cover charge at their specialty restaurants.
Very small but with adequate storage. Don't go on a cruise and expect spacious accommodations.
The onboard entertainment was outstanding. The cruise director and staff provided many very entertaining activities. This is what made the cruise a very enjoyable nine days.
