WE HAD A BLAST!

What a great time! The food was EXCELLENT - and BOY did we eat a LOT of it!!! Constant eating!

The drinks were excellent, the excursions were excellent everything was great... it really was.

We did have a SHORT time in Nassau, but it was actually just enough time for me.

In Port Canaveral we went to Universal Studios being as we are HUGE Disney fans and new the only way we were ever going to see Universal was via shore excursion. We had a great time there. PALES in comparison to Disney, but a great day trip! We went on The Mummy ride... INCREDIBLE RIDE! You HAVE to do it!! (and I'm afraid of rides with straight drops - this was great) We also went on the MIB ride, which was fun and the T2 ride - we bought the "express pass" thing which was THE BEST WAY TO GO -- though they only let you use the express pass once on the popular rides (they only checked off The Mummy ride)..

We couldn't use it for Shrek 4D, I guess b/c it was so new -- the wait was HORRIFIC. We were in line for nearly an hour and a half in the blazing heat with a bunch of annoying kids who didn't understand the meaning of personal space (neither did their parents, for that matter)... but the last ten minutes of the wait we were ready to leave the line (or shoot someone) -- so I think my opinion of Shrek 4D was greatly diminished by the horrific wait.

Other than that Universal was a blast.

In Miami we did the Ocean Drive on the Rocks - drinking tour of South Beach.. we had SOOO much fun! Drunk on South Beach -- woohoo!! LOL

We didn't go on shore at Great Stirrup Cay -- not real beach people -- so it was nice to have the ship to ourselves to catch some sun and watch the parasailers.

At Nassau we went on our own to see Atlantis -- it was gorgeous... then we hit the stores across from the pier -- cheap stuff! Duty free!

Onboard we had a blast -- drinkin' and eatin' even though this annoying group was on board everywhere we went (the couple got married on board and they whole group acted like they were the only ones on the ship -- clinking glasses countless times at dinner to get this old newlywed couple to kiss - blech!

But I have to say -- for my first cruise -- this was AWESOME!

:)
