We left on the Norwegian Dawn July 18, 2004 from New York. The whether was
overcast. The lines did go pretty quick.
I haven't been on a cruise since I was a kid. I loved it. For everything thing 1
out of 10 I'd rate it a 10!! We were at sea the first day and half. Never board.
Bingo, shows, casino, eating. Bingo though was little to expensive. $39.99 for 3
cards, $49.99 for 6 cards. But your away and your having fun. Food was
excellent. Service was excellent. Anytime you need something they were there.
Just kids I wish they had another place for. Too many. First stop was Orlando. I
went to Epcot. Too much money, you don't see alot. If you want to get an idea
than it's good. Otherwise don't spend the $100. Next stop was Miami. Went to
Miami Seaquarium. Love the dolphins. Which was only $40.00. That was o.k. Not a
big South Beach fan......Next stop was there private island. Didn't care for it
at all. If your not there early forget it. Went there and came right back. Not
enough room. Friday was the Bahamas. That was great. Take a taxi not a tour.
Less expensive. Took a taxi to the Atlantis. $4. Walked around town.
They could've lived without the private island and stayed more in the Bahamas.
All and all it was a very good ship. We had a balcony. I'll never stay in a room
without one. The rooms were awesome. Beds very comfortable. They cleaned
constantly.
One note: If you go with people and your next door to each other, the door on
the balcony they can open and you leave open. So you don't have to keep going
out the other door.
