Have just returned from a very successful holiday. The Dawn is a lovely ship and
the service we received was superb. I would say the food is very good and there
is so much to choose from. We ate in most of the restaurants and did not have
one bad meal. My personal favorite was the Aqua.
We had an inside cabin but when we go again I will pay more to get an outside as
I think its worth it. The entertainment was great - I was worried it would be
like a holiday camp with people trying to get you to participate in things but
its not like that at all. The ship was full but you could always find a quiet
area if you wished. The casual dress was great and we found jeans were
acceptable as long as they were smart with no holes etc but likewise I did not
feel out of place if I wanted to dress up.
Drinks onboard were incredibly reasonable - 6 beers cost $19.00, a glass of wine
cost $3.00.
My only word of warning - on your return make sure that you pre book a transfer
back to the airport. It is chaos when the ship disembarks and we waited for well
over an hour to grab a taxi. Will definitely book to go again.
