The Norwegian Dawn is a beautiful ship with outstanding art and graphics
throughout. Shortcomings are the free style dining concept and lack of 'class'
on formal nights. Good luck if you're a lone couple (or worse yet, a single) and
don't even bother to dress spiffy on formal night as you may find your table
mate in dungarees and flannel shirt. This is a no-class ship. Shows are great
but show lounge seating is an architectural disaster; far too cramped with not
even any 'toe room' since seatbacks go all the way to floor. Worse than worst
airline cabin seats. Casino smoking rules should also be as rest of ship; port
side smoking and starboard side non-smoking. Live poker (Texas Hold-em $5/10) is
a welcome addition but only one table made it almost impossible to get into a
game. Smooth, easy/slow dance music was virtually non-existant.
