Cruise Line: Norwegian
Name of Ship: Norwegian Dawn
Sailing Date: April 19th, 2003
Itinerary: Eastern Caribbean

My wife and I went with our kids ages 12, 10, and 7. We had the AB penthouse suite which exceeded our expectations. The ship is beautiful and staff courteous. On the downside, we found the kids program to fall short of that other lines provide, offering Limited hours, activities, and no offer to watch kids during shore excursions. And adult onboard activities are also limited. Those that they do have have an extra charge such as $5 for Yoga and stationary bicycles, $10 for martini demonstration, etc. This cruise line caters to kids but is best for over 40 cruisers with no kids who want a quiet, nice, elegant cruise. As for their "freestyle" concept, it appears to me as just another way to get you to part with your money.
