5 of us inc 2 seniors & a 6 mth old baby, Had the Greatest experience on this cruise. The food, accommodations (balcony) & service were excellent, also the weather .The seas were like a millpond & so the ship was steady as a rock the whole 11 days. It arrived at every port on schedule. If there was any criticism it was embarking in N.Y. There was no preference given .to the 2 seniors (one with recent heart surgery & over 70) plus the Baby started acting up after 2 hrs of waiting We were also Latitude members. But it made no difference to the Staff in the holding pen they told us just to be patient Non Americans Have to wait in a different line up.

We drove down 8 hrs from Canada. Stayed the night earlier at the Sheraton Wee Hawkin NJ (across the river) So when we saw the Dawn come down the river the next day, we had breakfast packed up called a cab ($60) to take us to the ship. Reason, left the vehicle at the Hotel for free instead of paying the $25/day charge on the docks. There's also a regular ferry from the hotel across the river, but with the baby & old fogies the cab was better. There was one incident on the Ship Our wardrobe needed a minor repair, They fixed it immediately, but glued my white jacket to the door . They had the glue removed & the jacket cleaned the next day. Also the reception sent a complimentary bottle of wine for the inconvenience. Once again a wonderful vacation. Thanks Norwegian.
