Well, where to begin! This was one vacation I was glad to see end. Average to poor food, tremendous boredom, and nothing to do during the day but spend money on bingo, craps, or blackjack. 5 days at sea on a 7 day cruise was not what I had in mind when I booked the trip. As we were walking up to the ship it was announced that the Cancun stop was cancelled. I THOUGHT, perhaps the reduced stop would allow more time in Belize. WRONG!!! The one port where the distance to the sites of interest is the furthest from shore, and we are given the shortest time on shore. How to characterize Cozumel, Roatan, and Belize, well, shoreline garage sale would be accurate.

NCL would do well to schedule things like maybe Yoga or Pilates or some sort of activity during the day. A Power Walk around the ship is scheduled at 7:30 A.M., which I suppose for some, that's not a bad time. For me and my wife, we took the trip so we could sleep later than we normally do during a work week.

As for the food, I actually began to get sick at my stomach at the thought of another on-board meal.

The two things we both enjoyed, the Cruise Director was a lot of fun to see, and the "towel animals" housekeeping put on our bed every night were very nice; however, not worth the price of the tickets!
