The first thing I will say about
this boat is BOOK NOW! The entire experience from start to finish was
incredible. The ship is beautiful and tasteful and IMMACULATELY CLEAN!
Embarkation
The entire process from start to finish was well organized taking about 30
minutes from when the cab dropped me off to me stepping into my stateroom. I was
in Stateroom #10043 (inside cabin). I am 6'1", 240 lbs and my partner is 5'11"
200 lbs and we never felt crowded. The bathroom is the highlight of the room. A
shower I had no problem fitting into and amazing water pressure.
PORTS
San Juan
Okay- did mostly shopping and siteseeing. If I go again - it is to the beach
Antigua
My only shore excursion - STINGRAY SWIMMING. Okay - fun but would have rather
spent the day on own at the beach.
St Thomas
Shopping. If you are doing this itinerary wait for St Thomas for the bulk of
your shopping but dont forget the beach- BEAUTIFUL!
Stirrup Cay - Bahamas
Didnt go because of rough weather. NCL passed on a credit to our onboard account
as a courtesy.
FOOD
The buffet restaurant seems to serve everything at one point or another as the
other restaurants.
Tried:
Tangos - decent Mexican with AMAZING SERVICE!
Cagney's - good steak and GREAT SERVICE!
Mama's - just OK Italian
Tsar' Palace- only went for breakfast but make sure you make a visit. Beautiful
breakfast.
Garden Cafe: Never had a problem finding a seat and always clean. Dont miss the
cookies at around 11 every night!
Would often grab a quick bite at lunchtime on the deck. Regular fare- burgers,
hot dogs etc
Purchased soda card for $40.25 and myself and partner shared it ( not sure is
allowed but they just glances at a sticker on your onboard account card and give
you a soda at any bar or restaurant)
ENTERTAINMENT
Do not miss CIRQUE BIJOU! That's all I can say.
Loved this ship so much that am booking for the Cruise out of Barcelona that
goes all through Italy.
