This was my first cruise and it will be my last. First the cruise was delayed one entire day. This started a domino of really bad effects. I scheduled the cruise to take my girlfriend for her birthday. I had wanted to take her to Nassau Bahamas. That day was taken off the itinerary as was the glass bottom boat ride. All we were able to see in seven days was Cocoa Beach Florida for a few hours and Grand Stirrup Bahamas for a few hours on which it started to rain after about three hours. The cruise had a BBQ that was extremely sub par. I would have had better food at a friends back yard BBQ. The food on the cruise must have been cooked by fast food rejects. We even went to "speciality food" returants for a small fee, and the chefs there must have been on some serious drugs. There was no organization, no real activities to keep you busy and the entertainment would have been better if they hired some dancers from Washington Square Park.

If you are a vegetarian, you had better bring your own food or you will starve to death. Even if you are into healthy food, just forget about it. They state that it is freestyle dining, but you can't get food when you really want to eat at any time. If you want room service, order an hour before you want to eat as you will wait forever. The food isn't even worth discussing.

The stateroom was nice although you have no air. The people that clean are there several times a day to ensure your room is always ready for you and tidy.

If you are over 60 you'll love it!! No rock climbing wall, no bowling, and I have played all the bingo I need to in a lifetime on that cruise.

I had two excurisions scheduled. One was in Florida and it was so cold there that we didn't really get to see much. But the excursion that I really wanted to see was the glass bottom boat ride which was just canceled by the NCL because they were delayed.

I haven't taken a vacation in over three years because of my work situation. So it had taken a lot of planning to get this week. I feel like I was totally ripped off. I have never had such a bad time on vacation in my entire life. I will never go on another cruise and I will never promote NCL. Don't waste your time and money. I can't even say that there was a little good and a little bad. It was just terrible.
