I would not sail on the NCL Majesty again. While the ship is old, the biggest issue is that they don't do much upkeep or cleaning. It's obvious they are selling the boat. The crew / management didn't seem to care much about the enjoyment of the customers, and did little to keep us informed of itenary changes. The lower level staff were nice. Most people I talked to on this cruise did not enjoy it.

The dining rooms were pretty good, though definitely not as good as other ships on other cruise lines. The buffet was awful. Poor choices, poor presentation, bad taste, cold, etc.

Very small (even for a cruise stateroom) and worn. Carpets needed to be replaced. Mold in the shower. Bed wasn't too bad.

There were very few activities. We had an unscheduled day at sea and the staff did not schedule a single extra activities. This cruise left from Philly while the phillies were playing in the world series, yet the staff scheduled no events around this. They had one grainy TV that sometimes worked and sometimes showed the game.

There were many times when there were no activities going on. Also a lot of activities started late in the evening, and were typically empty.

Would never go on NCL again. Other cruise lines treat you line a person and customer instead of like cattle.
