WOW What a great cruise!! I highly enjoyed the Freestyle atmosphere. Unenjoyable
for some I'm sure was the high density of college kids on spring break. I,
however, enjoyed it thoroughly. I was certainly glad to have some people my age
to party with. I took this cruise with my family (8 of us). Everyone agreed that
the energy the college crowd brought to the ship made our cruise only more
enjoyable. I even heard quite a bit from the crew about how they were glad to
finally have something to do later at night. The disco was always full after
2:00 and the casino stayed open regularly until dawn. This was a party cruise,
not a "lay back and enjoy a good book" cruise. NCL took very good care of us and
the food was good if not great. The best port of call was Cozumel, with it's
rich culture and relative lack of commercialism once you get off of the main
exchange. We rented scooters and rode around for hours enjoying the people and
their habitat. Had an authentic Mexican lunch right off the back of a pickup
truck. (No one became ill.) Key West is PARTY CENTRAL. If you don't enjoy a few
good drinks and a few good laughs, Key West is not the place for you. Lots of
good times to be had there. Grand Cayman was the least enjoyable of the ports as
there was little to do. There were a few good bars though. Overall this cruise
was Fantastic. NCL has my business from here on out. Spring Break is not the
time to cruise if you don't like to live it up a little. Have some fun!!
