What a wonderful first time cruise! Where do I begin to describe the best
vacation ever. Our cruise set sailed 01 Jan 2005. Embarking was so easy! In less
than 30 minutes we were on the top desk enjoying the view of Charleston and
sipping our drinks while the band played. Our inside stateroom was beautiful
(don't let the size concern you) we had more than enough room and besides it
looks real big in the dark. We were only in the room twice a day.
The service was excellent! The staff waited on us like we were royalty. I
personally didn't come on this cruise to eat at the Golden Corral like buffet,
but the two times I did, the food was hot and very tasty. We dined in the Seven
Seas or the other diner every day for lunch and dinner. The service was
excellent; the servers were so nice and attentive to our needs. The food was
about the best we've ever had! We pre-ordered our shore excursions and had a
grand time. The only tour we were disappointed with was in Key West. The
wreckers tour and fish aquarium were not worth the price of the tour. We wish
that the Couch Tour would have stopped and at a few sights to allow pictures and
for us to stretch our legs. On board shows were great. All the performers were
excellent and Bud Anderson and the singer Chris Riggins were nationally known
and did a great job. Our only sad experience was when the ship returned to
Charleston and we had to leave. I look forward to Jan 2006 when we can again
board the Majesty for another great vacation. Feel free to e-mail me if you have
any questions.
