Nothing will ever be perfect... that said, what a great time we had on this boat! We sailed with lots of friendly Southerners out of Charleston. The boat was clean, as was our room... right down to the turn down service with chocolates at night. We had both of our teenagers in with us and we all did just fine in one room... we were never there! The room had a great picture window, too. There were a few people who had some water in their cabins on Deck 9 (they were immediately given credit for the nights they were imposed upon), but we were on Deck 4 and it was a great location... check out the cruise ship layout on the web site and don't book near the casino (loud) or the Promenade Deck (7). The staff was amazing, and the food was incredible. We had NO lines for buffets and no more than fifteen minutes' wait time for dinner. The freestyle cruising is definitely the way to go... you eat when you want, where you want, and can dine alone or with others... your choice. The entertainment was clearly high class... two of the performers were from Vegas and all three were excellent.

The teen program was great, and our boys both met lots of kids on the boat (it was the last week of spring break, so we had lots of families but thankfully few college students... I would NOT book a cruise in March!)... we heard that the club for younger children was great, too. We took advantage of the walking track, the fitness center (quite small on this ship), the spa (wonderful facility- go for broke and have a hot stones massage), the line dancing classes, the martini nights, the free classes in the casino), etc. We did not book our shore excursions with the cruise line, so we did have to wait quite a while to get off the ship, but we're still glad we booked on our own... better prices, more individualized to our desires... all in all, it was a GREAT time and we would definitely go again with Norwegian... and I love the smaller boats.
