Itinerary: Western Caribbean
This was my first cruise and I spent a lot of
time looking at reviews after booking. There were many poor comments of the
Norwegian Sea and I was a bit apprehensive. There all full of BS.
The ship is a bit smaller than some other ships I’m told. But it seemed huge to
me. There were 1700 onboard and I never felt crowded except on the days at sea
when everyone was trying to lay in the sun. The pool was never crowded.
The carpet looked near new and everything was in good shape. The ship was
absolutely spotless and is cleaned continually. The crew was excellent and
incredibly hardworking.
I am an experienced musician and the musicians onboard were very good. One night
there was a black woman they called the “chocolate goddess” that sang blues and
jazz and was unbelievably good. I’d pay to see her again.
There was a duo in a lounge that played
classic rock. A big band type orchestra and a dance band in another lounge. All
were outstanding.
The food was excellent and plentiful.
The ports are fantastic, especially for scuba divers. This is some of the best
diving in the world and great for snorkeling too.
I’d love to go on the Sea again. I’ll definitely go Norwegian again. It’s the
best vacation I ever had.
