This was our first cruise and it exceeded our expectations. If you board early and have children, carry on the bathing suits. We did not get our luggage till 6:00 pm and boarded at 1:00 pm, so our children were bored. Towels are available on the boat to use. No use bringing your own towel. You are bombarded with alcohol the minute you get on the ship. Everyday there is a different glass. If you buy a drink and continue to use the same glass, you get a dollar off each drink.

The drinks are not strong at all. The Big Apple Cafe is the place to feed the kids. But, the lines are long and it is hot in there. Carried hamburgers and hot dogs at all times. You need to ask for french fries if you want them. We had a reservation with a room that stated "quad". We only had 3 beds and got a roll away. There was no room at night once the beds were made. Everyone in our group had that problem. We only took one shore excursion from the boat and it was horrible. We did the Playa Mia Beach Break in Cozumel. In the other ports, we rented taxis and went on our own. In Roatan, we found out if you wait about 1 hour after everybody else gets off the boat, you will get better taxi rates. You can find locals to take you to the same place as the ship does, only cheaper. In Belize, we used Coral Breeze Unlimited and had a guide named Heini, (rymes with Penny) and she was wonderful.

Every time you leave the boat, you can take towels with you. They say they will charge you $25.00 per towel if not returned, however, we found out that is not true. The shows were good. Sam Grisbomb (?) was the comedy act and it was not suited for small kids, which were in the audience. The young ones loved the kids program, only the unlimited sodas, was a waste of money. So was the water bottle and carrier they sell. In every port, you can buy unopened bottle water. The restaurants, the Seven Seas, and the Four Seasons, both serve the same menu, and the wait can be long, but the food is excellent. YOU CAN WEAR JEANS to the restaurants, for breakfast and lunch, you can wear shorts. For dinner, anything below the knee is acceptable, with shoes.

They constantly take pictures which are $10.95. If you wait till Friday to buy them, they are $8.95. On Saturday, they are $20.00. Laundry is $2.00 and up per item. On Thursday, they will give you a bag and whatever you can fit in the bag will be $20.00. However, they pick up between 9-10 am and it is not returned to you till Friday between 6-9 pm. Some of our clothes were shrunk and faded out. Would NOT recommend the laundry.
