I will start off with a disclaimer - I was not happy
with my experience and do not expand on the many things I was happy with, only
the overriding things that upset me.
There is no way this ship was remodeled in 1998, 2003 or any other year they say it was - other than 1988 when it was built. My room was so loud that it felt like I was sleeping in a massage chair, everything rattled all night long. NCL charges you $10/day/person fee - on top of the cost of the cruise - for cleaning service in the rooms. Waits for dining sometimes topped 1 hour after getting on the waiting list and reservations are not taken from 5:30 - 8:30 so either dine early, late or wait. I will never go on a "freestyle" cruise again, nor a cruse on a ship this small or old. Most of my conversation with people I met aboard the ship were on the topic of the boat and how horrible it is.
